The social committee of the club work exhaustively to bring its members the best in entertainment from bands / artistes to disco's, karaoke's, quizzes, race nights and more. Listed below are a few of the highlights for forthcoming events.
The Raffles
Held every Sunday at 2.00pm in our Jubilee Lounge we have our weekly MEAT RAFFLE with only the best produce sourced from local businesses. Tickets are just £1 for a strip of 5 numbers. Buy £5 worth and you will get another strip of 5 numbers absolutely free. Tickets are available throughout the week from bar staff or on the day itself.
Also every Sunday and drawn just prior to the meat raffle we have our 100+ Ball Draw. This is a members only draw at £1 a square and the winner can add up to £125 their bank balance. Again members can enter throughout the week or on the Sunday of the draw. We also have our weekly Lotto Bonus Ball Draw where members can win up to £54!
The Christmas Raffle

We are currently holding our Christmas Raffle to be drawn on Sunday 21st December. Again this is strictly a members only draw and at only £1 per number this is one not to be missed with prizes including a twin basket air fryer, pressure washer, coffee machine, android tablet, gift sets, wines, spirits, confectionery and much more. The board with instructions of how to take part is at the entrance to the bar.
Our BIG BINGO Nights
Held on the first Saturday of each month we hold our amazing bingo evening from 8pm in the Jubilee Lounge. Get along for your chance to win big. We have a small buffet for all players plus further chances to win with our unique 'Traffic Light Bingo' game or 'Play Your Cards Right. The bingo has a final guaranteed jackpot game worth a minimum £100 to the winner and is frequently a lot higher.

The Centenary Lounge
(Function Room)
Occasionally we have events in our upstairs, air conditioned Centenary Lounge such as bands, artistes or any function that demands an additional admission fee. At the present time there are no such planned events but the room is available for private hire. Please click here to be taken to our dedicated page. There is a Christmas Lunch planned for the room on Sunday 14th December. Please ask bar staff for further details.
The Jubilee Lounge
Many of our events take place in our downstairs and again air conditioned Jubilee Lounge. Here are the events planned for the remainder of the year.
SATURDAY 31st JANUARY ~ KARAOKE ~ We have the greatest of pleasure in bringing you our monthly karaoke, on this occasion to be hosted by our dear friend Mark Wilmot with his wonderful 'Stars In The Bars' show. This is always a very popular evening with a 7.30pm start so ensure that you get in early to secure your seat. Come along and share your vocal talents with us. As with all events non members are welcome.

SATURDAY 21st FEBRUARY ~ kEITH HAYMAN ~ We are delighted to welcome back our good friend Keith Hayman. As Cliff Richard's musical arranger and a touring member of 10CC we can't think of a better pedigree, it wouldn't be inappropriate to use the term musical legend. Ensure that you get in early to secure your seat for this very popular entertainer.
